The day will start with an overview of the platform and tools.  After this we will build an application together that incorporates many of the important features of the phone platform including the following :

Ø  Discussion of Tools and Marketplace

Ø  Connecting to Services

Ø  Isolated Storage (and other storage options)

Ø  Working with Push Notifications

Ø  Launchers & Choosers

Ø  Saving State

Ø  Camera Capture

Ø  Microphone and Keyboard

Ø  Location Based Services

Ø  And more

At the end of this first part, you will have a complete working application that you can use to write your own application.  

Part II

Part two is where the fun really begins.  During this section, you will come up with and build your own application for the Windows Phone 7.  You can organize in groups or build the application by yourself.  We will have experts around to help you as you build your app in addition to a couple of phones to test on during production.  At the end of day two a panel of judges will declare the winning applications.
